[MLUG] software and security

A client of mine, that creates human resource software, is looking for help
to develop security/audit processes. Their clients are demanding compliance
with things like this:

3rd party penetration tests
SDLC formal practice
Data Security & Information Lifecycle management
Identity & Access Management (SAML)

Any recommendations for consultants or companies appreciated.

Hi Gord

I am on the periphery of the security world ( I teach it not do it) but I may have a lead or two. I was at the BSides security conference in Ottawa last September. I will look through the presenter list an see if I can find someone. The is the owasp.org group who are in the application security field. There is an active group running in Ottawa.(https://www.owasp.org/index.php/Ottawa) I am not sure about montreal.

There was a mtlsec group meeting casually a few year ago and they were pen test companies or people. It has not met in a while.

I will see if I can dig up some contacts in the next day or two.
